The wide range of therapeutic properties of propolis determines the application on the following diseases:
Unlike antibiotics, it does not attack the gut flora and is excreted from the body without harming the liver and kidneys. It has strong anti-cancer properties. Propolis can be used pure as it is, in form of tincture and salve. For the manufacture of the tincture, we place 100 grams chopped propolis in a phial, in which we add 500 ml alcohol of 96 degrees. The mixture is kept in a dark place and shaken periodically (2-3 times a day). After forty days it is filtered through gauze. For the preparation of Propolis as salve, we place in a container 80 gr vaselin (pure, without mixings or parfume) .This container is placed in warm water at a temperature of 45-50 ° C. Then we add 20 gr of finely chopped propolis and stir until it becomes a homogeneous mass. Then we filter through gauze. The salve should be maintained in a cool and dark place. For the treatment of dermatological issues we use the tincture. The treatment depends on the level and varies from 6 days to 2 months. When the issues are chronic, it may, in addition to topical treatment, take fifteen drops of tincture, dissolved in half a glass of water daily, three times a day, one hour before eating. For the treatment of microbial infection of the respiratory system (phlegm), we use a quantity of Propolis in the size of a chickpea. We keep it in the mouth by sucking it like a candy and biting it loosely (so it doesn't stick on the teeth) for one hour before eating three times a day for a week. At the same time, twenty drops of tincture can be used in a half glass of water, three times a day. For the healing of internal wounds of the digestive system, we use Propolis in its natural state, in size of chickpeas, eating it three times a day for at least one to two months. PROPOLIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ALLERGICS. |
