| Honey is the product that bees produce. After harvesting the nectar (natural juices, insect secretions, tree secretions), they transfer it to the hive. They largely remove their moisture and then, before storing it, enrich it with enzymes to complete conversion to honey.
Nectar cane sugar is converted into invert sugar by substances that break it down, mainly the invertine, found in the bee's organism. Honey is therefore easily digestible for humans, without side effects. More than 180 substances have been detected in honey. Generally we can say that 16-17% is water, 77-78% carbohydrates and 6% all other ingredients. The nectar that every bee gathers when it goes out for grass is five centimeters of grams, and this small amount is gathered from 50-1000 flowers. When, to gather one kilogram of nectar, 20,000 bees have to go to the grass, and to produce a kilo of honey, which contains four times more sugar, and bees have to make 80,000 trips and visit between 4 to 80 million flowers. Assuming that the bee moves 500 meters away from its hive to pick up the nectar, it travels 1 km altogether and returns, so we conclude that to harvest a kilo of honey, the total distance is 80,000 kilometers, that is two and a half times around the earth. All varieties of honey: Linden, Eucalyptus, Fir, Pine, Chestnut, Spring Flowers, Orange Tree, Thyme, Cotton, Sage, Heather, Arbustus and 4 Seasons are available in our shop.
